  1. Great job, quick fix thanks for sharing is there a reason you would choose this method vs just filling those cracks with 100% concrete or silicone by itself?
Or maybe just using that expanding spray foam?

  2. All Of The Work You Did… All Of It.
Was Useless ! It Will Fail. Chip. Crack.
    DO THEE JOB CORRECT.
    MINIMUM. MINIMUM. 4" WIDE CUT.
I.E. cut the crack out. To a minimum width of 4 inches. ( MINIMUM )
Ok, Pull the cut part out. Save it !
Inspect under the cut out area.
    All good ? Okay… Ready ?
Dig out the dirt & chunks to a depth of.
3 or 4 inches in depth.
Sift this material ? If you want to ?
    Separate chunks of cement.
Then toss chunks of, in trash.
Spread dirt ? If you saved ?
    Here you GO…
    Take your/A sledge hammer.
Now tamp. Compact. That dirt good.
REAL GOOD ! in the cut/dug out area.
Get the chunks of cut cement.
Break them into 1" inch minus pieces.
Put them in the cut out space.
    Tamp them down. Real Good.
    Compact them real good. Okay…
    Get a piece of 2"x6" board Or 1"x6" ?
Either or ? Cut 2 pieces about 12" inches.
    Now oil your edge boards.
    Place them boards.
Stake those boards. Good & secure…
    Make a small batch.
About a full 12 oz. Cup. Of just the pure cement powder & water. Not to wet.
And yet you should be able to work it.
About the consistency of a slurpee !
Or a bit thicker than applesauce.
Or pancake batter. Peanut butter ?
This is for the inner edge cut on both sides.
Clean the top surface of the two opposing walk way slabs. Right up to the fresh cut edge. Now use duct tape.
To tape all the way across the top surface.
Of both sides. Step on it. Get a good seal.
Okay… You can use a paint brush ?
Or your trowel ? To coat the two opposing faces where the cut has been made.
You Are Ready To Pour That Concrete.
Pour it in, Let it sit, For about 30 minutes.
    Ok… Now its go time…
Your master piece of a birthday cake awaits !
Wait just a minute. Its to mushy ?
    Ok… Well Then. Hold On…
    A few more minutes…
It should be stiff ? And yet surface workable…
If you need to ? ( NOT MUCH ) not much.
Sprits water on it, from a spray bottle.
    No… No… No… Not To Much… Oh Yeah.
Just Right… YOU GOT IT !
Now Work It… Work it real GOOOOOOOD…
No Salt N Peppa Allowed for this one.
    Maybe the next one ?
Flow with it. Not against it…
    SMOOTH… SMOOTH THAT FINISH.
    wait… wait… wait…
Test a piece that you had mixed.
You know, some that on the side.
That you prepared as a test.
Check You Out, Your Already Got It This.
    Okay. Now leave it ?
    Or…
    Texture the surface ?
Well, That part is up to you !

SEE YA… ON THEE, NOT NEXT ONE !

  7. Thank you for this video I will use it on my concrete paths. Do you think the same technique with a different sealant for asphalt would work for large cracks in driveways? I see others have asked this question, but no answer. There may be answers, but so many people have commented questioned and replied I could not possibly read through all the comments thank you again.
