What kind of shower handle type is that is that if anyone knows …. i have the same type of handle system where its a lever on and off but i dnt know the name

The pipe that comes out of my wall is 3 1/2 inches long do I need to cut it off a bit? If I don't need to cut it what size of a spout do I need?

Hi Jeff. Thank you for the video. I am following your videos to do the bathroom Reno myself. Thanks to your videos I was able to tile the bathtub!! However, I tried to put the faucet back but it is not working. I did not change the previous faucets. When I put them back I see some of the water is coming from the tub faucet and some water is coming from the shower faucet handle. I moved in to the house recently and I don’t remember if this was an existing problem before I took out the faucet. Am I doing something wrong? Could you please help?
Tech tip – Should always fill the spout roughing hole before installing spout
Make sure to tape or cover drain… ask me how I know lol
Hmmm… I finally followed Ann's advice and took Woodglut. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.
Has anyone ever heard of grouting the space between the trim and the wall instead of caulking it? I'm thinking the installer didn't set the valve back far enough and so the tile guy needed to fill up that 1/2" gap and used grout.

Really enjoyed your video. Question: what is actually happening inside the tub spout when you pull the lever and the water transfers from the spout to the shower head? When the knob on the spout is pulled up, how does the water get pushed up? Thank you!

Bit of lippage there Jeff,
I am installing a new Delta tub and shower faucet in a remodel project. I am using copper piping and the stub out for the tub spout is copper. The spout that came with the faucet set up has female threads at the front end of the spout. I have to install a 1/2''copper to 1/2 '' pipe male adapter. How do i measure for the length of this stub out before the adapter is soldered on? Or is there some type of easier way to do this ? Will the solder joints be strong enough for this type of installation?
Hi could you please make a video on how to install Huntington brass shower kit.its a little different from the kit you're useing and kinda similar to the moen but not quite id love to see the demo thanks.
